2016 Brighton Dance Festival

I had the great opportunity to be involved in this year’s Brighton Dance Festival as a performer, teacher, and choreographer. I took part in the opening night performance, which showcases dance work by the BDF faculty and showed my new solo iSelf in which I dance with a projected manipulated live feed of myself.

During the following festival week, I taught Modern Technique in a morning session to the advanced dancers, and created a new dance for seven dancers which I called Play It.

I’m very thankful to Kathy King and the committed, enthusiastic students at the festival who showed themselves to be hungry to learn and engage with new material.

Intermitten 2016

I had the great pleasure of being invited to present and perform as part of Intermitten 2016, a conference aimed at exploring innovation and creativity in relation to technology. My talk was highlighted here, and I performed my solo iSelf at the Pop-In, held at the Ann Arbor Arts Center.cpkvjpnwgae5xql-1024x1024
